Fictional Writing Contest

Open to all writing abilities ages 5-18.  Submit up to three of your best fictional stories.  Writers are also the judges! Everyone will vote on their favorite stories.

We will also separate out the stories by age/grade. The number of submissions will determine how many categories we make.

All writers are also the judges. 

We will remove names so it will be a blind vote.  Then everyone will vote on their favorite stories. 

We will have up to three rounds of voting depending on the number of submissions in each category.

Submissions

Submit up to three of your best fictional stories. All submissions must be received by June 23rd.

Late submissions will not be accepted. 

All submissions need to be emailed to info@velocitycolorado.com.  They can be typed directly in the email or a word/doc file. Parents, please spell check, format your stories and overall make sure they are easily readable. Please include the name of the writer in the submission (we will remove it on our end later).

Voting will start July 1st.

Awards Party

There will be an optional awards party to attend at the end of July. 

More info coming closer to the date. This is where you can pick up your prizes.  If you can not attend the party, you can arrange a time to pick them up locally in Westminster.
